Here We Go Again…
If you are a regular reader, first off- thank you. Next, I bet you’re wondering why I’ve been so silent. Well, there are a couple of reasons. My brother and sister-in-law had a beautiful baby boy, and I got to help them for his first week! I will truly cherish it forever. Second, I’ve been struggling with where Kale and Campfires should go.
I love talking about traveling, but despite what I thought in my teen years, it’s not all life is about. I’m going through so many other things that I want to talk about- finishing the remodel of our home, learning to live without my husband, and transitioning into becoming an empty nester. I want to talk about my faith, give you recipes and tips, etc.
I also want to build a community that meets outside of this space, like IRL (in real life). That’s coming soon.
Kale and Campfires is now a lifestyle blog. We’re going to build a community of people who live happy lives, talk about where they are at, and don’t put up a mask. Life is messy, and that’s okay. We’re in this together!
I know, I KNOW they don’t do as well as niche-specific blogs in terms of making money faster, but if I’m having to swallow hard and “suffer through” writing, where’s the fun?
I’m about to tackle some other things on my to-do list, so here’s a short video to help us transition into this new phase. I mean, it’s Ree, the OG of lifestyle blogs.
